Don't miss Lyon and Turnbull's Valuation Day at the Glasgow Art Club this Friday 20th March.
These events are great fun. If you have a picture, ornament or curio at home, and you wondered if it was valuable, it's free to ask about it. If you are lucky Robert Ferguson, the Club's president, may be standing by. He was often able to add even more detail, due to his extensive knowledge. For extra expertise, Lyon and Turnbull usually have experts in various subjects attending.
Roll in, roll up for the Glasgow Art Club’s Members Spring Exhibition, work by notable artists, to date: Chris Allan, John Archbold, Lesley Banks, Hugh Bryden, Gerard Burns, Liz Dulley, Alan Dunlop, Frank Gallacher, Ron Kenyon, Pawel Kosior, Paul McEvinney and Delyth Reid.
Preview Evening Friday 13th February, Meet the Artists, Enjoy the Club’s Hospitality, doors open 6pm – all welcome. Open to all 11am to 5pm Monday to Saturday excluding: Saturday 21st March.
Combine your visit with a Westbourne lunchtime concert on either Wednesday 11th, 18th, 25th February, 4th, 11th or 25th March , concert commences 1pm.
Third month on our 2026 calendar. This year the calendar includes works by living artists as well as gems from the historic collection, spanning 150 years since the Institute was established in its current form. Now reduced to £6.00
