As a child, I was encouraged to be creative, enjoy nature, and explore places near and far. Visits and holidays to the Islands and west coast of Scotland, Loch Lomond, Dumfries and Galloway, the Lake District, and abroad have been inspiring.

After graduating from Jordanhill College in 1970 I was involved in the Jordanhill College Art Pilot Studies. These were put into practice and inspired children and teachers over many years. I have also been involved with local youth groups.

Always keen to learn I have taken many creative evening classes. I have attended workshops and year-long classes in Continuing Education Courses at Glasgow School of Art. My latest achievement is being accepted as an Artist member of Glasgow Art Club. My journey continues.
My artwork includes watercolour/oils and my development as an artist continues with mixed media. My journey is exciting and rewarding. I have exhibited in various locations.
