Sheila Tandy

Artist Member, Life Member

Sheila Tandy was born in Glasgow. She studied sculpture and ceramics at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and is an artist member of the Glasgow Society of Women Artists and Paisley Art Institute.

Over the years she has worked as a wildlife artist in Zambia, a museum manager and exhibition designer and in property management for the National Trust for Scotland.

Influenced by the work of Margaret MacDonald MacKintosh, Sheila started her own business in 2000 creating Limited Edition Gesso panels some inspired by Mackintosh and some her own designs. These are in collections around the world. She is now concentrating on larger original commissions.
