I am a Textile Artist, inspired by local Renfrewshire landscapes, history and culture.
I make stuff, and blog about making stuff, and support others to make stuff.

This work was inspired by my collection of old Jacquard Loom punch cards.
I am fascinated and inspired by the artistic and technical processes by which the original Paisley Weavers would often cultivate their ‘Paisley Pinks’ and then – through the media of paper draft and punchcards- ultimately translate the colour, form and essence of the flowers into designs for shawls.
