Paisley Art Institute is sorry to hear of the passing of our long-standing member, James, aged 99. He was Assistant rector at Stanley Green High school, Artist and Life member of Paisley Art Institute. James put in many years helping at our exhibitions, often at the busy drinks table during annual previews. He exhibited 2 paintings in the last annual show and also sold one. He liked to paint what he saw around Paisley. One which caused much discussion on line was his 'Old South primary School' as so many people had loved it and wished the building had not been pulled down!

Funeral service to take place at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley on Thursday 12th September 2024 at 12 noon.
