Cancellation of 133rd Annual

27th July 2021
The PAI Committee have some very disappointing news about our Annual exhibition. Yesterday afternoon, July 26th, we received an email from the Landlord of Artspace 37, where the exhibition was scheduled to take place.  It gave us the unpalatable news that notice to vacate the venue was served, and it is no longer available to PAI from August 26th.  Having already lost the adjacent ‘POP’ space, and having already reigned back our plans we are now in the position of making an enforced decision to cancel PAI’s 133rd Annual Exhibition.  Last night we held an emergency Committee meeting to try and find a solution. However, it is apparent that there is at present no suitable venue available to us.

The Management Committee has decided, therefore, to postpone the planned exhibition, but will endeavour to find an appropriate venue for our next Annual. Suggestions for suitable buildings welcome.

We would like to thank you all artists for submitting your work, and tell you how disappointed we all are that we will not have the opportunity this year to create an exhibition that will do justice to the PAI Members and all the open entrants who have offered us images for consideration.  Submission fees will be refunded.
