Margaret Johnston

Margaret Johnston is an artist based in Ayrshire who graduated from the Glasgow College of Building & Printing as an Interior/Exhibition Designer. She worked as an exhibition designer for Paisley Museum & Art Gallery for five years and designed the Paisley 500 Exhibition. She now focuses on her own work in oils, primarily painting portraits and still life in a realistic style. She is an artist /committee member of the Glasgow Art Club and has a WASP studio. Since 2011, she has run her own art gallery through Costley Hotels whilst employed as Marketing Manager for the group. She has also hosted a stand at the Glasgow art fair and holds frequent art events in Ayrshire and Glasgow.
