I love drawing. This has stayed with me throughout what has become a very screen-based full-time occupation. In recent years, I have made a much more conscious decision to pursue drawing and painting in my spare time as a form of mindful therapy, and while often still detailed, my drawing style has become looser, as an antidote to pixel-perfect work on computer.
I carry a sketchbook every day and enjoy recording my surroundings through reportage drawings of people and activities and the cityscapes or landscapes around me. I’m particularly interested in architectural subjects, either plein air (urban) sketching, or studies of places I’ve visited that have remained imprinted in my mind.
