Liz Dulley
She studied Fine Art art and Fine Art Development at Dundee College. Since leaving college in 2005 she enjoys teaching art and working from her studio.
Using watercolour she manipulates paint to create interesting surfaces. As an artist she takes elements from the environment and expresses them as one. Using this concept, in conjunction with symbolism, she assembles fragments to create an arrangement that displays the whole.
Following travel in Japan recent work explores the connection between herself and Japan. Some paintings include the addition of paper purchased during her trip, to the painting surface. In parallel to Japanese tradition she also very much enjoys working with natural materials and spends much time working in the field, exploring natural phenomena.
