Kirstin Armstrong

A graduate of The GSA, I enjoy drawing and painting my favourite subjects of Scottish wildlife and Highland landscapes. I am particularly fond of using watercolour, gouache, and vibrant Inktense pencils. I have exhibited locally and nationally, including with the RSW and PAI, and the annual Edinburgh MacMillan Art Shows. The artwork exhibited is inspired by a beautiful deer skull that I found amidst autumn leaves by the Glazert river. Usually I love incorporating colour into my work, but this monochromatic drawing reflects my feeling of melancholy, following the death of a loved one.
