Eleven Horizontal Lines is a 2 dimensional drawing folded to create a simple 3 dimensional form. The drawing is derived from archaeological section drawings showing the stratigraphy of an excavation site. That on paper using a variety of media, the image resembles a landscape, indicates a temporal liminality or connection between the subterranean sedimentation and the world above.
