“My work is a personal response to my subject matter, in terms of colour, light and space, and in the Scottish painterly tradition, reflecting my time at GSA in the late 60s. My paintings explore the distinctive characteristics of oil paint largely in still life studies featuring flowers and collected objects and photographs in the studio.”
