Jacqueline paints figurative oil paintings capturing energy, light and atmosphere.

I qualified in 1985 from the Glasgow College of Building and Printing after studying Interior
Design. Always having enjoyed drawing and painting the human form, I attended Life Drawing
classes during the early 1990’s at The Paisley Art Centre, and then later on at East Kilbride
Art Centre and The Hamilton Town House.

I have had artwork accepted for the following juried exhibitions;
Mall Galleries London – The Pastel Society 2011 ( 1 pastel portrait accepted).
Scottish Drawing Competition – Paisley Museum and Art Gallery 2011.
PAI Annual Exhibition – 2011 to 2020 (excluding 2012).

In my work I aim to create atmosphere, mood and energy, mainly working in oils, although
I have recently started to experiment with acrylics. I use online galleries to sell my work and have artwork in private collections in the UK, Europe and USA.
