
Fiona Chirnside
Fiona was always a keen student of art at Dundee High School and later under the encouragement of Patricia Templeton Sharp DA, a friend and neighbour, started to develop her own style. In January 1999 Fiona was accepted as a member of Glasgow Society of Women Artists and is also a member of the Paisley Art Institute and the British Society of Limners and miniatures. In 2006 she won the Barclay Lennie Award. Fiona specialises in small and detailed paintings and has exhibited at many exhibitions including the Edinburgh Festival, Paisley Art Institute annual exhibition, Kilbarchan Art in the Square , miniature exhibition in Chichester. Fiona has also helped in the organisation and running of the Annual Uddingston Art Exhibition from the late ‘90s to 2007. Stonehaven Harbour.
