Eòghann MacColl

Eòghann MacColl was a visual art lecturer with New College Lanarkshire and an elected member in East Ayrshire. He now leads the Connect Project with Centrestage in Kilmarnock.

Eòghann has a First Class honours Fine Art Degree from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design. He has been the artist in residence at Sabhal mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye and a previous winner of the Alasdair Salvesen Travel Scholarship. He has delivered workshops and facilitated visual art projects across Scotland for many years.

He has also exhibited widely across Scotland in group and solo exhibitions with work in public collections, including the Royal Scottish Academy, the University of Dundee and the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in County Mayo, Ireland.

For the last two years he has delivered a visual art project in Gaelic based on the visual art programme of the Dick Institute in Kilmarnock, supported by Creative Scotland and Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
