For 54 years I have been photographing landscapes in the main - it's great to watch the view change minute by minute hour by hour and hope that the cloud might just move into the right place. My view of the Anchor Mill was taken one evening using a very wide-angle lens to give me a new perspective of this iconic view. For an hour the clouds nearly got to the right position but would evaporate away but then this one developed right over the mill - click! My other work was taken in France after I had just finished my salad - the patterns made by the olive oil and the beetroot juice were so vivid - click!
