I am a figurative artist, and fascinated with the magic of drawing, of making marks that express feelings for the human form, in space, light and movement. I often work in series of the same person capturing their movement in time and within the same sitting. This portrait is part of a series of two. The process is drawing the undertone first with acrylic paint on gesso board and finishing it with pencil and charcoal. It is framed behind glass to protect the drawing.
