Annual General Meeting
Dear Members, after receiving advice and guidance from the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, we have decided to proceed with arrangements for the Annual General Meeting. The AGM will be held by virtual meeting (Zoom) and be held on Tue 1st December at 7pm.
An Agenda and papers will be issued in the following ways. An email from PAI will arrive with AGM documents attached. Postal copies will be sent to those who have no internet access or email address and may be unable to attend virtually. These papers will be issued six weeks in advance of the AGM no later than 19th October. Due to the restrictions of Covid-19 and a ban on social gatherings we cannot hold a public meeting in person or in a venue. A Guidance document will be issued for attendees to show the Zoom link for joining the meeting and to make clear the voting procedures and the manner of raising questions from the floor. Members will be able to express postal votes in advance or vote on the night.
Nominations for Committee
A number of vacancies have arisen in the Committee due to some members stepping down and retirals. We invite members to Nominate themselves or any other member as a potential candidate. Nominations must be supported by a proposer and seconder. #see note

As per the PAI Constitution nominations will be considered by the Management Committee on 22nd Oct 2020 and brought to AGM for ratification.
We hope Paisley Art Institute Members will continue to recognise the value of making an individual financial contribution to maintaining an art institution with over 132 years of annual exhibitions. The financing of the annual exhibition, website, and administration of PAI, depends on Membership subscriptions. PAI is amongst the longest established open entrant exhibiting societies and a vital platform for creative self-expression. While we are in this current state of hiatus, brought about by Covid-19, and further complicated by the closure of Paisley Museum, and the temporary loss of our exhibiting venue, we are thankful for the continued loyal support and patience of the membership.
Subscriptions are due by the 31st of October. Payment options include Standing Order, Bank Transfer or PayPal, Credit or Debit card or lastly, by post, by Cheque.
Current subscription rates are: Artist members £25, Lay members £15, Life membership £350. Please help us by ensuring we receive your payment by the 31st October 2020. Members due for renewal are kindly asked to do any of the following:
