Hugh Bryden - Artist Member

Born in Dumfries in 1950 Hugh graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and taught in schools in Dumfries and Galloway for thirty years. Throughout his teaching career he exhibited nationally and internationally.

He concentrated mainly on printmaking and making artists books and a keen interest in poetry led to him publishing poetry pamphlets through his imprint Roncadora Press.

His books are in national and international collections and have been widely exhibited, winning a number of awards. He has recently returned to painting.
