Sheila Page lives and works in Fife. She trained in textiles at Glasgow School of Art but now focuses on drawing and painting, using a range of media on paper, including waterbased paint, pastels and charcoal. Over time, the same subject themes have appeared repeatedly in her work. She particularly love things which have been shaped by different forces, including the rural landscape around her home.

She has a particular affinity for objects which have been used but are now neglected and unloved, for example rusty old tools, broken down sheds and an abandoned forest of birch trees, misshapen by the prevailing wind. She is currently exploring a nautical theme, focusing on boats overwintering out of the water with  weathered surfaces and muted colours.

She has exhibited widely including at RSW and Angus Open, Paisley Art Institute and Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh. She was part of a group of artists which represented Scotland at the FabrianoinAcquarello International exhibition in May 2020 and 2023. In 2022, she had a solo exhibition at Fire Station Creative in Dunfermline and a two person show at Gallery 47 in Pittenweem.
