It is only in recent years that I have had the opportunity to make a serious attempt to revive my interest in drawing and painting, having originally studied at Glasgow School of Art.

Initially attempting some family portraits I became fascinated by the endless variety of humankind, and in particular by the facial expressiveness of characters ,both posed and glimpsed unaware in street cafes and markets. An unlimited source of subject matter.
