Neil Cramond - Artist Member

Neil has always had a passion for art and drawing and his main influences range from classical nineteenth century portraiture and landscapes, his favourite artists are Rembrandt and Caravaggio as well as modern artists like Christian Hook and Jenny Saville. Neil works primarily in oil paint as it can be used in so many different ways, but also works in charcoal and pastel.

Neil has a strong connection with animals, particularly Scottish Wildlife and loves to depict the colours and textures of fur and feathers. Neil also does portrait commissions of both humans and pets. Neil lives in Ayrshire with his wife Elaine and their son Jordan who is an actor. They also have a crazy Jack Russell and Pug crossbreed.
